- by George and Joanne from USA Hello, We are still in Poland. Leave on Saturday. We had a great time hiking the High Tatras. It was absolutely beautiful and would love to do it again. The huts were perfect and the food delicious. Everyone was very kind. The information you gave us about the alternate route came in very useful as we had some bad weather. But hiking out and in again was lovely. We had a great time. Thanks for everything! Thank you.

It is something we will always remember. Michal provided excellent translation and allowed us to feel a part of the family we just met. It was a great feeling to find long lost cousins and see how much we are like them. We look forward to another visit some time and will invite Michal to be our guide.

We had no trouble, but you should know that the second hut is undergoing very substantial renovation. While our stay there was fine, other guest may want to be ‘warned’ that it is very much a construction site rather than a tranquil hut in the forrest. Thanks for a great experience and all the best,

Our Guide books said that you did not need to tip the tour guide on formal tours. We are still not clear on whether or not that is customary. At any rate we may want to send along something.
